Our Canada Goose Hunts

At The Watson Hunting Camp we offer a different style of Canada goose hunt then most Lac Qui Parle Goose Hunters are used to.  Instead of pass shooting geese out of pre determined blind or pit positions, that have proven to be highly unsuccessful for hundreds of hunters each year……

We offer a Fully Guided Canada goose hunt over large spreads of the highest quality goose decoys on the market. You can expect to hunt pre-scouted fields that have actually had geese feeding in them the night before instead of hoping for a high wind that may or may not drive the birds to fly low the next day. 

You can also expect to be hunt out of comfortable layout ground blinds with an experienced guide that knows how to call and land Canada geese.  Be assured that if you book a guided Canada goose hunt with The Watson Hunting Camp you will not have to worry about taking shots over 40 yards and you can expect to shoot landing Canada geese for a truly “In Your Face” hunting experience!

Our Big Water Duck Hunts 

At The Watson Hunting Camp we also offer big water duck hunts.  We have access to several of the largest bodies of water in western Minnesota including the infamous Marsh Lake and Lac Qui Parle Lake, both of which draw thousands of Mallards and Divers each fall.   With equipment such as head waterfowl guide Matt Endrizzi's 17 foot enclosed boat blind which comes fully equipped with heaters and breakfast facilites when those late morning hungers strike.  This is a classic Minnesota duck hunt over large spreads of decoys and grade "A" calling from southern Illinois finest!
